The current migration tool on codeplex site is not compatible with TFS2010 Beta2. Problems exist when you migrate Rename change types from or to a TFS2010 Beta2 server.

At the this time, I will suggest you to wait a few weeks. We'll release a new version that are compatible with both TFS2008 SP1 and TFS2010.

thx for feedback,  weeks means <4 or ? because we have to plan this synchronization and consolidation, and as usual we have a time line.

Hi, Cosmin,

It turns out that the 'several' is less than 1. Our alpha release of the tfs integration platform was live yesterday. Here is the link to the project portal on codeplex. http://tfsintegration.codeplex.com/ . This release supports both tfs2008 sp1 and tfs2010 beta2.

I strongly recommend you start with the wiki and migration documents. Matt and Willy's blog also provide lots of useful information.

Thanks,

Pei

Hi Pei,

thanks, i already have almost all prepared, the point is that is a bit confortable with the UI than to run the migration console and rest. so hopefully that you will update the GUI in the time line that you said.

thanks

Yes, the TFS Integration Platform that is mentioned above will work for TFS 2010 Beta 2.
