Steps to Manually Create the Database and Update the Configuration

We'll fix this bug before the next drop, but in the meantime, here are the workaround steps if you need to install to a remote SQL Server installation.
  1. When the database installation step pops up in the install, select to use an existing server and enter your database credentials. This will leave out the actual database creation.
  2. Run the following command to create the database (sql script located here):
    • SQLCMD.exe -S <servername> -i Database.(local)_SQLEXPRESS.TfsToTfsMigrationTool.sql
